"During the passage through Saturn's ring, a gravitational wave began to interfere with the system, presenting a periodicity between each pulse, which had consistently the same strength and direction. These pulses were recorded and analyzed, being reinterpreted within a musical time signature of 88bpm and by FM synthesizers to achieve the strongest melodic movements. It is evident that this contact is more an expression of movement and transformation, without melodic construction or any attempt to communicate through a language code."

This change brings a resignification to all fundamental sounds that we know, mainly due to the fact that our sound frequency range is quite limited (we expanded the sound range from 1 hz to 100 khz, to capture the most diverse oscillations of space, transforming them to our hearing range).

This is the beginning of an intergalactic search for artifacts, records, impressions and interactions with key resonances echoing across the vast infinity of stars.”

Lucy MK1 is a generative art project developed on Ableton Live and MaxLive by tuneofworms.

Exploring generative music, Lucy MK1 is an automaton written to compose musical pieces entirely from ordered randomness through midi commands interpreted by VSTs and samplers.

After the musical composition, it is inserted again into MAXLIVE to be read and reinterpreted in the form of a pixelart animation, using the output generated by the instruments as parameters for the video synthesis.

When finished, the animation is exported in GIF and the music in WAV.

This note has been time stretched and manipulated with fX to produce the different sounds and textures. This is an open edition to commemorate the minting of this new type of abstract jazz.

Ruins of the Old Church of Bomsucesso 

Its construction was at the initiative of Mr. Bernardo Pereira in 1789 and its construction attributed to the Order of Carmelites, it is located very close to the Miriri River, meeting place with the sea. In this region is Praia Bonsucesso which is an extension of Praia de Lucena. In the ruins of the Church of Bonsucesso there is the presence of an imposing gameleira that supports part of its structure. These ruins have typical characteristics of the second period of rural religious architecture in Brazil in the 18th century. The ruins of the chapel of NS de Bom Sucesso, no longer have their roofs covered and even so still receives faithful, mainly residents of the region, who are devotees of Our Lady of Bonsucesso, this fact is proven by the presence of a current image of a saint near the old altar.

The orchestral sound that a flock of birds makes at dusk in the center of Palmas is one of the most intense sound marks I have ever experienced. I made this recording tens of meters away from the trees, and yet the sound is as intense as if it were next to the birds. Everyone who has enjoyed the late afternoon in the center of Palmas has been infected by this masterpiece of nature that surrounds us here.
